Our Jewelry

The Georgian Era is a time period that officially lasts from 1714-1837, named after the rules of the four Kings George of England. It contains the sub-eras of the Revolutions of America and France, the Napoleonic Wars, and the Regency Era.  It was a time of great innovation and change.  

I specifically reproduce the jewelry that was popular in this time, which makes it perfect for reenactors of the 18th Century, the American Revolution, the Regency period, Jane Austen, the French Revolution, the War of 1812, the Napoleonic Wars, the Empire Era, and even further into the 19th Century.  

Since the majority of my customers are reenactors, historical costumers, and museums, accuracy is my primary goal, and I do my best to make the closest possible reproductions of the original jewelry.  My materials are sourced carefully and meticulously and I've even gone so far as to have my settings custom made since I wasn't happy with the supplies that were commercially available.  When possible, I use vintage glass rhinestones and crystals, mostly from Austria and the Czech Republic, that I hand-select for use in my jewelry.  My settings are all made of nickel-free heavy cast brass that's been richly plated in Gold, Silver, or antiqued versions of both.

The beauty of Georgian era jewelry is that it is totally wearable for the modern era.  The styles are timeless, elegant, and versatile.   A necklace that looks perfect with your Regency ball gown will also look great with your little black dress, or even dressing up a pair of jeans.  I think you'll find yourself reaching for the jewelry on a regular basis.
