Blue Cameo and Chain Festoon Necklace

Festoon necklaces are one of the best styles of Georgian Jewelry in my opinion!  They come into fashion in the early 1790s and are the perfect accessory to the Grecian-style dresses that take over in this era.  

This necklaces features are large central medallion holding a vintage glass cameo in a lovely iridescent blue. It catches the light in a beautiful and eye-catching way.  It is suspended on three tiers of oval chain which forms elegant swags when worn. The chain also flashes and shines for extra oomph. 

The shortest length of this necklace is 15" long, with a 3" extender chain to allow flexibility in sizing.
