Pastel Crystal Harlequin Collet Necklace - Medium Oval
This listing is for a reproduction Georgian Paste collet necklace made with multiple colored Czech glass rhinestones. These multi-colored necklaces were common in Georgian Era, where they were called "harlequin." These are set in heavy cast-brass settings that have been richly gold plated. These settings are especially good because the loops are located at the TOP of the setting, which means they won't flip around and show the backs, which is a common problem with the types of settings with the loops in the center.
This necklace features rhinestones in blues, pinks, purples, greens, golds, and diamond. Do note that each necklace is made-to-order, so while the colors here are what you will see in yours, the arrangement may be different. Each one is unique! See the last two pictures for images of this necklace layered with the others available in my shop.
These necklaces look beautiful when layered together. Here's a similar toned necklace with larger, octagon stones: https://www.damesalamode.com/products/large-octagon-harlequin-collet-necklace-multicolor-pastel-rivere-necklace
You have the choice of ordering this in three lengths:
Short: 13 inches with a 2" extender chain to wear at choker length
Medium: 16 inches with a 2" extender chain, which will sit at the base of the neck (this is shown in the pictures)
Long: 18 inches with a 2" extender chain, to be worn long
I can also make matching earrings (in any color) for this necklace for $16. Please contact me if you are interested in earrings.
These are timeless. Collet necklaces have been prized from the Georgian era until today, made especially famous by modern style icon Anna Wintour. They are perfect for historical recreations or everyday wear.
